Manufacturing

Your plant runs on schedule. Your front office runs on email.

Quotes, orders, supplier paperwork and invoices still move by inbox and spreadsheet. Agents take that work so your people can deal with customers and the floor.

Where the hours go

None of it is hard. All of it is constant — and it is done by the people you would rather have talking to customers and suppliers.

Quotes wait on one person

Pricing depends on material costs, quantity breaks and routing. The person who knows it is also the person who’s busiest.

Orders typed twice

Customer POs arrive as PDFs and portal downloads, then get re-keyed into the ERP — with part-number and revision mix-ups.

Supplier files go stale

Insurance, quality certifications and customer-required declarations expire, and someone finds out during an audit.

Customer questionnaires pile up

Every large customer wants its own vendor, quality and sustainability questionnaire filled in.

Cash is slower than it should be

Invoices wait on shipping confirmations; deductions sit unexplained.

Agents that fit.

Each one does a single job inside the systems you already run, stops and asks a person for anything outside your rules, and is measured from the first week.

A day in the life

Monday, 7:40 am

Over the weekend, eleven POs came in — three as PDFs with revision letters in the part numbers. By the time your inside-sales lead sits down, nine are already sales orders with acknowledgements sent. Two are waiting with a note: one has a price that doesn’t match the contract, one asks for a revision you’ve superseded. She deals with those two and moves on to calling customers.

Every agent starts in shadow mode.

For the first stretch it watches the work and drafts what it would do, while your team keeps doing the job. You compare its drafts to what your people actually did.

It only starts acting when you say so — and only on the kinds of work it has proven it gets right. Anything above a limit you set (a dollar amount, a new customer, a price change) still comes to a person.

Works with the ERP you run — NetSuite, Acumatica, Sage, Odoo — plus your shared inboxes, customer portals and quality files.

Questions & Answers

Manufacturing: common questions

No. The agents work inside the ERP you already run — NetSuite, Acumatica, Sage, Odoo or something bespoke. Your ERP stays the record; the agent does the reading, checking and typing around it.

That is the normal case, not the exception. Part of the build is mapping customer part numbers, revisions and units of measure to your item master. A correction you make once is remembered, so the same mix-up does not come back.

The agent stops and asks. Price mismatches, credit holds, superseded revisions and new ship-to addresses are approval points you set, so they come to a person with the difference already spelled out.

It drafts the answers from your own documents and previous submissions, flags anything it cannot source, and a person signs it off before it goes back. Nothing is submitted on your behalf without that approval.

It takes the re-keying and the chasing off them. The people who know your customers spend their day on quotes that need judgement and calls that win work, instead of typing orders that arrived as PDFs.

Bring one process. We will tell you straight.

Pick the job that costs you the most hours, bring a handful of real documents, and leave the session with a plain answer on whether an agent can do it.
